Here’s a super simple yet boldly flavorful turmeric-infused garlic bread recipe. Made with just six ingredients, it features fresh garlic, parsley, and a secret twist of activated turmeric and ginger paste. This golden garlic bread is wonderfully aromatic, packed with vibrant flavour, and makes the perfect side to elevate any meal.

  • 4 large cloves of garlic

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 cup organic butter

  • 2-3 tbsp parsley

  • 1 tsp turmeric and ginger paste 

  • 1 loaf of sourdough bread, sliced

  1. Preheat oven to 200 Degrees C.

  2. Peel outer layer of the garlic. Using a sharp knife, cut 3cm from the top of the bulb and massage olive oil on the exposed garlic.

  3. Wrap garlic in foil and place in the oven for approx. 45 minutes.

  4. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. NB: Leave the oven on as you will need to use it again.

  5. Combine butter, garlic (you can squeeze the roasted garlic out of its skin), parsley, and the turmeric and ginger paste in a saucepan.

  6. Place over low-medium heat and stir for 3-4 minutes, or until the paste has melted.

  7. Spread turmeric garlic mix on the sourdough bread, coating the surface.

  8. Place the garlic bread on a sheet of foil, wrap and place in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is crispy.

  9. Serve and enjoy.
