- 1 cup organic self-raising flour (choose gluten free if required) 
- 1/4 cup cacao powder 
- 2-3 tbsp chocolate and hazelnut protein 
- 1 cup oat milk 
- 2 eggs beaten (or vegan egg alternative) 
- 2-3 tbsp maple syrup 
- 1 tsp vanilla essence 
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
- Melted chocolate 
- Coconut yoghurt 
- Crushed hazelnuts 
- Fresh berries

- Preheat waffle iron for 5-10 minutes. 
- Combine all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl, mix well. 
- In a separate bowl, add oat milk, whisked eggs, maple syrup and vanilla. Mix to combine. 
- Slowly add ‘wet’ ingredients to the dry and mix through. 
- Once the waffle iron has heated, spoon approx. 1/4 cup of the mixture per waffle, close lid and leave to cook for 4-5 minutes. 
- Serve with melted chocolate, crushed hazelnuts, coconut yoghurt and/or fresh berries.
