For as long as we can remember, acai bowls have been our go-to breakfast. They’re an energising way to start the day and keep you performing at your best. To keep things interesting, we switch up the flavours—sometimes adding fresh orange juice for a bright, citrusy kick, other times cacao powder and dates for a richer, dessert-like treat.

  • 100 grams frozen acai (1 acai sachet)

  • 1 large frozen banana

  • 1 tbsp plant based protein powder

  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries

  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice

  • 1-2 tsp honey (optional)

  1. Combine all ingredients (including any optional extras you would like) in a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Pour into a glass or bowl and top with your choice of buckinis, goji berries, cacao nibs, shredded coconut, activated nuts, fresh berries and coconut yoghurt.
